NEW BLOG~ Fairy Finds is now closed.

Thank you all of my loyal readers. I know the posts on this blog have been few and far between lately but this is due to working on a new huge project. For the past few weeks I have been working on a brand new blog with a domain that I own. Google Business Apps was creating a lot of problems for me in the beginning. Once my domain was fixed I could work on formating the blog, creating graphics, etc etc.

FAIRY PRINCESS GYARU HAS FINALLY OPENED ~~ [/throws confetti~~]

I am so excited to have my very own blog now, and I have so many ideas for posts too! Please click the banner below to view the website.

This is the last post that shall be made on Fairy Finds. TT n TT Thank you all for the wonderful memories but it is time for me to move on to my new blog.

Lifestyle Fairy Kei

Hello my Fanciful Faries, Lovely Lolitas, and Gorgeous Gals~~

I know I have missed far too many Storenvy Saturdays and my shop reviews have been few and far between. To tell you the truth the store that I work at hasn't been doing well and a ton of girls quit. So now since we are still looking for people to hire my hours have doubled and I get few days off. I never realized how exhausting it can be to work 8 and a half hour shifts for six to eight days straight in heels. I don't know how I got through the majority of high school in heels. O n O So that has kept me busy, plus I have been sick with a terribly sore through. Going to the doctor is so expensive though, so hopefully I don't have strep throat. [/fingers crossed]

So I decided for my return I should make a couple announcements:

I SHALL MOVE STORENVY SATURDAY TO TUESDAY. I am not sure what the catchy title shall be but Tuesdays are much better for me that Saturdays now. Friday ~ Sunday are heavy-hit days for retail so I am always working long hours and utterly exhausted by the time I get home.

And secondly, WITH MY RETURN I AM STARTING A LIFESTYLE SERIES! I knew I needed something big for my return, and there are few lifestyle references for Fairy Kei. SO I PRESENT THIS: Lifestyle tips from a lifestyle Fairy ~~

CHALLENGE START ~

I used to wish that there was a manual for a 'lifestyle' lolita or a 'lifestyle' fairy. To me, it would make things much easier if there was a visible list or a how-to book laying out exactly what one should do. Collecting dolls, drinking loose leaf tea in expensive Shelley teacups, reading original copies of Victorian novels, baking elaborate sweets, embroidering artwork. I could easily come up with a list of hobbies for lolita. Lolita is a style that tries to embody looking as doll-like as possible while maintaining modesty and obeying rules of a certain fashion style heavily influenced by Victorian and Rococo period clothing. Therefore, I would think that the activities of a lolita would be just as elegant. For each style the hobbies would alter slightly - a sweet lolita might bake cakes and macarons, while a gothic lolita may dabble in performing seances. Fairy Kei was a much more difficult style to create hobbies for; roller skating, karaoke, dance parties, bowling, video arcades, jazzercise - anything that was really popular in the 80s seemed to be fitting.

Then I wondered the most difficult question for myself to answer: "How should a lifestyle lolita or a lifestyle fairy act?" There are very limited resources behind lifestyle Fairy Kei, which is why I am creating this, but even the lolita websites are a little lackluster. The lolita sources say to be kind, polite, demure, perhaps even timid and cutesy if you are a sweet lolita but I thought "Shouldn't everyone be polite? Lolita or Abercrombie-addict?"

I spent forever trying to figure out what it means to be a lifestyle fairy. I soaked up everything I could from every website, every magazine snippet and all that I found was people saying "be positive and be polite". Some people said you had to act one way while other bloggers had a completely different idea. It was then that I realized something very important.

Fairy Kei isn't a structured style.

There is no handbook for how to dress in Fairy Kei because there are very few rules, and when the rules are broken it suddenly becomes a new style. Fairy Kei is all pastel with no black, add black and you look Pastel Goth or even Creepy Cute. If you add bright colors to Fairy Kei and you are now wearing Spank. There are no restrictions to how short your skirts can be, how poofy your dress needs to be, how many accessories you can wear, what your hair color can be, what shoes to wear, or what fabrics your clothes need to be. Anything from satin to silk, polyester to cashmere, vinyl to wool: there are very few rules.

Of course there are a few guideline rules as there are with any style. Everything from 1950s classic styles, to bohemian, to lolita, to gyaru, to even Fairy Kei there are rules. The first and only still in existence is all pastel colors (because anything else lands you into Spank or even Decora). It used to be that you couldn't have morbid designs so a lot of Milklim designs originally wouldn't have worked but now that has changed drastically. It also used to be that you couldn't wear sailor fuku, or even pants! That has also changed. If you want to incorporate more macabre themes, sailor fuku, or pants it is entirely up to you.

Oh, let me repeat that last bit because it is an important theme in lifestyle Fairy Kei.

IT IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU.

If you read this post thinking I would give you a wonderfully written guide on how to be a fairy, you may be disappointed as this is not one. However, if you keep reading this post you will find many ideas and suggestions. Plus I may empower you to quit looking for that guideline.

Unlike Lolita there are no guidebooks, handbooks, pamphlets, or carved stone tablets listing what you can and cannot do in Fairy Kei. Likewise there is no magazine, website, book, newspaper, person that can tell you what you must do to be a lifestyle Fairy. Since this style has only a color restriction your options are free for dress and for your lifestyle. (And location! Some Fairy Kei looks are ridiculous for super cold weather~!)

LIFESTYLE IS MORE THAN WHAT YOU WEAR, OR WHAT YOU DO, OR HOW YOU ACT TOWARDS OTHERS.

Lifestyle is also your outlook on life. Are you a pessimist or an optimist or somewhere in between? Are you the protagonist in your story or the anti-hero? There are many upon many more questions you can ask yourself but there is one that holds a higher importance than the rest in your journey to figure out what a lifestyle fairy is: What does being a lifestyle fairy mean to you?

I shall repeat.

WHAT DOES BEING A LIFESTYLE FAIRY MEAN TO YOU?

Since this is a blog, I shall express my own opinions here as I do everywhere else on my blog. Hopefully sharing my journey might answer some of your questions.

To me being a lifestyle fairy means waking up each morning thinking every new day will be better than the last. It means staying positive even when times are tough. (You never saw Jem [from Jem and the Holograms] pouting and moaning whenever things got rough for her, did you?) It means spreading my happiness to others and ridding anyone of their sorrows. I have always been a people-pleaser and try to make people smile. I can imagine Tinkerbell and her friends flitting around to wipe frowns from everyone's faces ~~ It means even if I fail to make a sour person smile, I still try to be polite to them and don't fret about my failure.

It means filling every dull moment of my life with pastels and joy. My desk where I do schoolwork used to be a place I dreaded to go to, but now it is a pastel paradise filled with all of the things I love: strawberries, Hello Kitty galore, anything sparkly and pastel, lots of stickers and stationary, all sorts of cute pens, pencils, etc. My bathroom which used to be so bare now has a pastel shower curtain, a cute tissue cover, all of my makeup is in adorable bags, my bath products are all adorable and they smell amazing - like fruit or flowers or even sugary candy.

To me, being a lifestyle fairy committed entirely to Fairy Kei style it means my clothing purchases fit into the style, aside from the clothes I need for work. For work I do have to wear black, white, and graytones but I found ways with my accessories to bring in a bit of sugary sweet fun (and even in my shoes). Little things like accessories I have found are a great way to get myself excited for the workday.

Throughout each day I ask myself three questions to keep myself motivated in my Fairy Mission: what can I do to make myself better today, what can I do to help someone else today, and what can I do to make a better tomorrow? Sometimes I make myself a better person by not eating something high calorie or by limiting how much I can spend on nail polish or by laying out my days outfits the night before. To help someone else I hold doors open for people, make sure to mind my manners, and sometimes I buy gifts or bake some sort of goodies and give them to family, friends, coworkers, classmates, etc for no special reason. Making a better tomorrow covers a very broad spectrum. Perhaps I will pick up liter and recycle it, maybe I will lay out my outfits the night before the workday, or I might pack my lunch and my sisters lunch ahead of time to make the next day go a little easier.

Fairies are rarely negative creatures in folklore, fairytales, Disney magic, and in Harry Potter. In fact it is pixies that can be the bad ones - but this isn't Pixie Kei, it's Fairy Kei. So I like to act extra nice to everyone, I like to smile, I like to perform good deeds and random acts of kindness. Every Christmas I empty every piece of change on my person and give it to the Salvation Army bell-ringers and Santa Clauses. Come Halloween I not only hand out candy but I give girls beaded bracelets and boys little swords made from the same beads. I even hand out candy to the teenagers that old enough to be neglected on Halloween by the adults (and I totally understand that getting free candy and dressing up can be more fun than going out dressed in a skimpy outfit and grinding against a stranger while drinking). All year round I go out with dum dum lollipops in my purse and hand them out to little kids, and if they are really tiny I had them to their mothers. When I have a plethora I hand them out to teenagers and the elderly too.

As for my Fairy Kei hobbies; I am learning how to sew mostly because I have dreams to open up my own brick-and-mortar store someday as well as an online shop. I collect Shelly teacups and I love being a barista at home for friends and family; tea, hot chocolate, fancy coffee. I make beaded bracelets out of pony beads and stretch string. I have dance parties by myself in my room and sometimes I drag my sister or my friends into them. I love going bowling at night when they have their glow-in-the-dark lanes and lights on. I love going to the arcades around here and spending an afternoon playing nickle games. I love making paper flowers from tissue paper and any thin and shiny paper. I love making origami too! Baking has always been a hobby. . .and eating too. I collect Care Bears and absolutely anything Strawberry Shortcake, strawberry scented, or anything with a strawberry motif. I love writing letters to all of my lovely pen pals. I like to collect candy wrappers - especially from foreign candy. I love turning them into artwork! My most prized artwork was taking reflective and glittering wrappers from various Japanese and Korean candies and cutting and gluing them into a koi fish swimming in a pond. I framed it because I am so proud of it! I adore roller skating because it is so obnoxiously 80s and I do drag my friends with me. Lastly, although I am not the best singer I love karaoke. There is a place locally that plays not only English music but they have a massive ever-growing library of music in Korean, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and some Thai and Vietnamese. While my singing lacks, I do stand up and dance to all of the songs. It is embarrassing how many routines I have learned from music videos (even the more complex Korean boy band pieces. Breakdancing solos? You bet I can do them).

So all in all if you are into Fairy Kei, you are lucky in the fact that you have chosen a very open and expressive form of fashion!! Although it can be difficult to find your way at first, I can promise that it becomes easier. Fairy Kei is very much a style that you mold to your own tastes and the lifestyle you have already given to yourself. One of my best friends is a Fairy and spends most of her days playing video games by herself, and on occasion she will go to Pokemon meet ups where we all play Heart Gold and Soul Silver. (Plus she owns so many old school Tamagotchi, it's amazing ~)

I hope this allowed you to find your personal path for Fairy Kei, and I am excited to do lifestyle DIY projects in the future as well! Comments are loved as always and I would really appreciate hearing other fairy's opinions too~~

Storenvy Saturday #5: Hime Gyaru Edition

Sorry for skipping two Saturdays in a row but on both I worked 13 hours shifts in high heels so I completely collapsed when I got home. Thankfully today I only worked seven and a half so I still have some energy left after eating my weight in pizza. (Okay, so not that much but I still ate a lot.)

This is Storenvy Saturday HIME GYARU EDITION.

So quick history: I was really into Hime Gyaru in the 6th and 7th grade but given that I was on a strict allowance and didn't have a Paypal account or even a debit card, I couldn't really invest in the style and appreciated it from afar. Especially because I am not stick thin, so I was discouraged. However, I discovered a plus sized gyaru who is absolutely gorgeous and brilliant when it comes to Gyaru despite not being in Japan. Yay for creative gaijin gyaru ~~ I found her while I was browsing my Tumblr dashboard and saw several Hime Gyaru tagged posts.

So I decided on a whim to do a EDITION-HIME ~!!

This purse is $28.99 USD, and totally reminds me of something Liz Lisa would proudly display in their store. I am not sure if it is a very light pink or a soft ivory, either way it would be an amazing edition to a Hime Gyaru wardrobe. Even a Sweet Lolita could wear this quite easily. Plus a Classic Lolita could wear it too since it has nothing overly sweet about it, however simpler Classic Lolita's may think too much is going on with the eyelets, the lacing, and the bow.

$15.99 USD and incredibly Liz Lisa, so Hime Gyaru. Easily Jesus Diamante too ~~ For the quality of the product I think this is a fair price, I mean look at how rich the bow is and THAT LACE. Beautiful embroidery, I could seriously cry over how beautiful it looks!

Below are more bows from various shops all in the $10.00 USD ~ $15.00 USD range. Some bows are more extravagant than others, but all resemble Hime Gyaru, perhaps even Hime-Kaji (Princess Casual).

There is also a more spendy alternative, but the quality is super impressive because the gal designs bows for Lolita, and Lolita has strict rules about what materials and lace can and cannot be used.

The Royal Rabbit carries bows of extremely high quality, but the price is equally up there, the particular bow above going for $24.00 USD. It is not the most expensive bow one can buy but it isn't cheap. She sells many gorgeous bows, some of my favorites are in pink but have sadly sold out already. Stock rotates fairly frequently and sometimes sold out styles come back - or at least I think I have seen styles go missing and reappear. That being said, it is a shop to enjoy and check out!

The bow above is $5.00 USD and a much more affordable alternative for most pocketbooks. Although, to me, it looks more Hime-Kaji, it would look absolutely adorable.

But maybe you are all bow-ed out, I know I could never be but ~ I know my sister thinks I should stop posting so many bows. So those of you who are not bow-obsessed like I am please take a look below!

$14.00 USD and you are awarded a gorgeous pink rose polymer clay headband! Apparently you can slide the bows off the headband so you do not have to wear all three. It also comes in white. Personally, I want both. I think flowers are beautiful and they are a popular motif in Hime Gyaru. Just looking at Dream V and their dresses you can see that the Hime Gyaru crowd loves floral print.

My goal is to add one "in-home" item in every post I make for Storenvy Saturday. This means it is something you can use or display at home, rather than something you can wear around. These decorated picture frames are $8.00 USD, and absolutely gorgeous. I love the one on the bottom right corner. That being said, I also love the pearl details on the top frame.

My Kawaii Box always has cute nails, but to me these scream Hime Gyaru in length and style with the gold, pink flowers, pearls, and silver rhinestones. The set is $25.00 USD which is about normal for nails this decorated, I have seen some lower and some much higher (around $40.00 USD) so these are reasonable.

This item may seem a little silly but I have seen plenty of Gyaru in Japan running around in rabbit shaped coats, so why not a subtle scarf? 100% wool, although the user says it can be made in another material for those with wool allergies - actually she doesn't say what she will do but she suggests that it can be suitable for vegans or people with wool allergies so I assume she would make it in another material. For $30.00 USD this scarf can be yours! This is expensive for girls on a Fairy Kei budget but not bad in the Gyaru and Lolita world. It's up to you to decide if it is too expensive for you or not. I know I have seen a lot of scarfs sold where I work fall apart in a matter of days and they are around $48.00 USD ~ $60.00 USD. Then I have seen scarves go on sale for $19.99 and people go on to use them for years. . .and this is coming from the same boutique too.

Last item for today is this purse for $30.00. It comes in several colors but I like the light pink the best. I easily fall for anything quilted, plus this has bows so I am seriously thinking about getting it. There is something very Chanel about quilted purses, and I have loved Chanel perfumes and accessories ever since I was a little girl especially Chanel bags. My dream is to one day own a vintage quilted Chanel bag in white and gold ~~ * u * ONE DAY IT WILL HAPPEN !!

I tagged this with Fairy Kei and Lolita because there are select items in here that could work for the styles, it depends on how you coordinate the items (with the exception of the photo frame). I'd love to know what your favorite items are, if you have ordered from any of the shops, or if you own any of the items above or times similar. Are you liking the themed finds as much as I am?

I hope you enjoyed this post~~ As per always I appreciate comments, emails (kiminokokoro@mail.com, from my old blog), etc. I will love you forever if you follow my blog. ^^ I appreciate all of your support.

XOXO ~~

Storyenvy Saturday #4 ~ On-line to In-Home

This week I am doing another theme! This time I am including cute items to spruce up your bedroom or office! I was inspired by a Storenvy Staff Pick that featured a cute little panda night light! So here we go, jumping into our fifth week!

My mother has a tone of milk glass lamps that she has inherited through the family and I am slowly falling in love with them. They are so versatile for many styles! Fairy Kei, Sweet Lolita, very very Classic Lolita but even Gothic Lolita or Creepy Cute could easily work in these lamps. Adding rings to the base or even a bow around the glass could really cuteify this lamp! It sells for $10.00 USD, as always the pictures link to where to purchase.

I would need about 50 of these for my jewelry, but for those of you who don't own a lot of jewelry, these hangers are $7.99 USD each. It may come as a surprise but a lot of Lolitas (especially those who don't participate in OTT Sweet) don't have a lot of jewelry. Which, if you think about the idea it makes sense. Lolita clothing can be very expensive so wasting money on lots of jewelry can be a waste! It's rather impractical for myself being that I have lots of clothes, a tiny closet, and lots of jewelry.

I included several different memo pads because they are such a simple way to really brighten up any room! I love a few of these stacked up next to my bucket of adorable pens! Plus I am an avid sticky note / memo note user. I even tape them to my mirror and walls.
HURRY! THESE ARE $0.20 USD!! I got mine on eBay for $0.99 so this is a really good deal. I have it in both colors, but the brown photographed really really light here - at least compared to the brown I have. This is a mirror and a comb, and I adore mine. The comb does slip out fairly easily but it is simple to tuck back inside.
While most of what my family washes is hand washed, there is quite a bit that is allowed in the dishwasher and on our busy days we will toss them into the dishwasher. We are left re-washing dishes quite often because we don't know if they are clean or dirty. I think these little signs are so cute, especially for $0.50 USD! You can also choose what color you want. Hello Pink ~ Yay for cute, cheap, and useful magnets!

Did you ever have a pillow that lit up? I remember my sister had one, mine was just plain and I was so jealous. Believe it or not, this cute star pillow actually lights up! I want like. . .twenty on my bed so I can light them all up. Honestly this is one of the cutest stuffed pillows I have ever seen.

Talk about amazingly creative and super cute storage! The come in sets of three and I am in love with the colors. Actually, they might be fairly easy to make, but for those who can't wait this could make amazing storage for a lot of different items!

Storenvy Saturday #3 ! CREEPY CUTE EDITION

I can't believe we have come to another Storenvy Saturday! This week went by so quickly for me! I can't complain, because I got my paycheck this Friday. The portion not going into savings was spent on tights (for me in all sorts of cute fairy kei/mahou kei designs) and jewelry for my younger sister (whose style is very creepy cute). So you guys can look forward to those posts eventually.

Anyway, ONTO STORENVY SATURDAY.

This time I am doing something different and making a CREEPY CUTE addition in honor of my sister Theresa (who is turning 17 on February 26th. She is getting so grown up. TT u TT <3) and her adoration for all things fluffy, adorable, creepy, and maybe slightly morbid. Some of these items are on the sweeter side, and some could be use in Gothic Lolita, sooo~ this gets the lolita tag and the fairy kei tag.

Choco Cloud carries items that are Fairy Kei but some delve into Creepy Cute, for instance this bow works for both Spank! styles and Creepy Cute. For $4.50 USD this bow can be worn in your hair with an alligator clip or pinned to clothing with a pin. I just adore polka dots so this is ranked pretty high in my book. Plus there is purple. Plus there is sparkle. Look at how that bow glitters. It shall hypnotize you with it's shininess!! "Buuuuy meeeee~~"

For $3.50 USD these earrings can be yours at Darling Deers Kawaii. Heck, I bought them for Fairy Kei since they look so pastel and 80s. However, bats and pastels are common in Creepy Cute. (Bold colors such as purple, teal, hot pink, and lime green are also used with black, white, and gray of course.) Every other picture of a girl in creepy cute I see pastel colored hair, bat motifs, and crucifixes everywhere. So these are something I frequently find missing from my room and hanging from my sister's earlobes. Up close in this picture you may see "flaws," how some beads don't close up as much as others. However, once on your ears (and even more so moving a bit) you really can't tell - but mine were really nice too. They look so cool when my sister is walking because they look like flying little bats.

Also - my sister has really sensitive ears, so most metals and heavy earrings bug her. Let me go into mini-details here because you may think you have sensitive ears but you have no idea how bad it can get. Theresa had to get her ears pierced three times - and I am just talking about a simple lobe piercing. She still has to sanitize her ears after having them done for years because they become red and infected so easily. Plus she should be doing it every time she takes earrings in and out. I can't say that she always cleans them, but that may be why around the lobe her ears are often dry and red.

The amazing thing about these? She has had no problems with and she says they are super light weight.

Vinyl, leather, lace - you may think I am talking about the wardrobe of Lady Gaga or Adam Lambert but nope. These three items are common for clothing and accessories in Creepy Cute. So why not showcase a vinyl bow by  Melty Dream that costs $8.00 USD. For a vinyl bow that is sewn this well, I could see myself purchasing this for the price. It's actually a fairly large bow. Warning though: Melty Dreams isn't exactly thrifty. A lot of items in her shop are more. . .wishlist items.

It was tough to only pick one headband from Creepy Little Girl because to be honest, I want them all. Flower headbands are still appearing everywhere in Japanese, Korean, and Taiwanese magazines - and I would think in many other Asian magazines too. Even Vogue caught on and had a few girls dawning bouquets in their hair. It's trending right now, which makes people give you a few less looks but it also works well in a lot of Fairy, Lolita, and Creepy Cute looks depending on the flower quality, the headband quality  the colors, the additional items mixed in, etc. The headband is $15.00 USD and the anklets/shoe garters are $15.99 USD. More expensive, but these could make fairly easy DIY experiments. (I think my sister may take a trip to dollar tree so we can make these for a DIY. . .) This gal makes a lot of cute items though.

These little devil horns have made their way all over Tumblr, and I can see why. They are super adorable in Creepy Cute, and my sister who is also a Homestuck fan already has plans to paint the white ones into. . .I don't know who the character is, but apparently the character has candy corn colored horns like that. (I avoid Homestuck because the fandom is obnoxious. Yet I am a Whovian. Whut?) These are sold for $8.00 USD at Jinx Me.

Now, want to know a secret? EVERYTHING ON JINX ME IS ON EBAY. For at least half the price. Just do an ebay search and you can find everything.
If this looks familiar it is because I bought it for my sister for $12.00 USD at Miss Jediflip. And since my sister is a total creep (or a cutie - both terms are correct for Creepy Cute) she is IN LOVE with this amazing bow. Although the bat has photographed silver it is a metallic lavender and gorgeous. The quality is amazing, and my sister loves wearing it every way she can. Including pinned to clothes.

Sugar and Spice DIY is my sister's second favorite storenvy shop. (I promise I will show you her first favorite too!) It contains a lot of Creepy Cute stuff in bold and bright colors, which can sometimes be the more difficult colors for her to find. So I listed a ton of our favorite items from the shop. In order of appearance: Crucifix Bow - $7.00 USD, Crucifix Necklaces - $6.00 USD each, Graveyard Dust Charm Necklace - $9.00 USD, Suck My Bats Brooch Set - $7.00 USD, Star Brooch Set - $8.00 USD.

Spooky Crafts is my sisters third favorite store which sells mostly hair accessories but does dabble in bowties and necklaces. This coffin box is $15.00 USD, and Theresa's most loved item from the store. It is her favorite of all of the handmade coffins Wendy has ever made. Wendy is also happy to do custom work! Be sure to check out all of her glitter skeleton hands! Those are so fun and sparkly ~~ (plus reasonably priced).

(Con)Artistry sells a lot of Victorian, Lolita, Creepy Cute items. This is our favorite item and it only costs $6.00 USD which is our most thrifty find since this hairpiece looks so darn expensive.

The Biscuit Bar!! This is her favorite FAVORITE shop on Storenvy which sells amazing rings (for the most part its all rings) and some iPhone cases, but neither one of us has an iPhone. We are Andriod gals. All of the rings shown are $10.00 USD each, which isn't expensive but not super mega thrifty either. I am including this shop because it is her favorite shop of all time. Including everything on eBay and Etsy which is saying a lot.

Storenvy. . .Saturday? #2

Some of you may have noticed that Storenvy Saturday didn't appear in your blog subscriptions yesterday. I am sad to say that I am a day late posting this, life just got busy for me over the weekend. So here I am posting this super late at night on Sunday. ONTO THE POST~

Cuteness Overload is a sensory delight from Sweden specializing in all things cute and fluffy. Everything in the store is a reasonable price: the best example is that these bracelets are $2.00 USD each! She carries so many cute bracelets, a lot of them I have envied and can be viewed in my profile. These are perfect to stack on your wrist for Fairy Kei and possibly Sweet Lolita. ( Oh my goodness - the blue with the lavender stars in Sailor Lolita <3 I am overflowing with joy ~ )

I know anime and manga sometimes go over pretty roughly with the lolita crowd, mainly because so many are asked if they are cosplaying when fully dressed up OR cosplayers of Miku, cosplayers in maid outfits, etc, all think they are dressing up in Lolita even though they are clearly not to all Lolitas. However, anime and manga are strong themes in Fairy Kei so I present to you an adorable pastel Pikachu button from Shadow Anime which carries all sorts of otaku gear. This pin comes in at $3.95 which is reasonable since it is a giant three inch button!
Baby Cupcake Boutique has some of the cutest headbands this week. If you click the picture linking to her post, she has better pictures of three adorable Hello Kitty headbands and one bunny. Priced at $7.00 USD I am so jumping on getting a white one for my winter white Sweet Lolita co-ord. These headbands have so much frill and sparkle, plus if you are a budget Loli this can be a great substitute for a big brand headband. It's versatile enough that you should get a lot of wear out of this headband.

Bowkuma is well known for elaborate bows, and even I have purchased some from this lovely shop. Now for $3.00 USD you can get your very own Sweet brooch. It's even made with a fancy fancy turning lock, meaning it's going to be extremely difficult to fall off whatever you pin it too: clothing, bookbag, stuffed animal. I know I have seen this resin piece before but this is the best made brooch I have found of it and one of the cheapest too.
$2.00 USD earrings? I am so there! In fact I was just over at Little Sugar Girl a little over a week ago. These are on my next purchase from her shop, and I am so excited to see them in person. Absolutely Fairy Kei but a Sweet Lolita could easily get away with them. I love anything with stars or planets so these earrings are definitely on my list plus the shop owner is darling.

Before you Lolitas call me out for not being elegant enough, I am featuring these lovely earrings from Roaring Through Crowds. Priced at $8.00 USD these are more spendy but they also look much classier. I want to buy most of the earrings in this shop because they look so magical. This perticular design you could wear with a fancy Fairy Kei outfit, a Sweet Lolita co-ord, or even with my sister's style Creepy Cute.
From Creepy Cute to Fairy Kei Pii Kawaii is the perfect shop to visit for really unique accessories. These rings come in at $6.00 USD each with a lot of customization available. I think these are adorable for Fairy Kei and Creepy Cute because Fairy Kei has that made-it-myself feel it it and with Creepy Cute anything goes as long as it is pastel or black (and white!) and adorable.

Millions of Bows always has many many many cute bows - right now her store is actually lower in stock than normal. Anywho - this pin is only $4.00 USD and LOOK AT HOW 80'S IT IS~ The colored mesh can be layered in any combination you want as well. Possibly my favorite find of this week and oh so Fairy Kei. Be sure to check out her three dollar scrunchies too if you are into the style!

That finishes this week's Storenvy Saturday erm. . .Sunday. As always your feedback is greatly appreciated! Is there anything you want me to change? Perhaps you would want me to post only stores I have bought from even though I try to review all of them? Or maybe you want me to focus on one shop every week? I love hearing feedback from all of you Fairies and Lolis out there! ^^
